In its thirty-second year of operation, Child and Home Study Associates served over 282 families. 89 home studies were completed in this fiscal year. Seven of these home studies were for single adoptive parents. There are 17 families currently in the home study process. Post-placement supervision services were provided for 118 families. All of this work has involved the placement of 62 children this fiscal year as follows:


Licensed in 3 states, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, Child and Home Study Associates continues to provide home study services, post-placement services, and counseling services to couples and singles who wish to adopt both domestically and internationally. Child and Home Study Associates works closely with placing agencies and with adoption attorneys to insure that our reports meet agency and country requirements, as well as those of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. Child and Home Study Associates works cooperatively with several placing agencies accredited under the Hague Convention for international adoptions from Hague countries. For clients who are still making decisions about the type of adoption and resources with which to work, we have an active consultation service which can focus on resources and help make decisions appropriate to clients' needs.
