What if I move before the child arrives?

Because all states require that the agency see the home where the child will be living, you will have to have an update to your home study report once you’ve moved. If you move within eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware, CHSA can do the update for you. If you move to any other state, you will need to get a licensed adoption agency in that state to do an update to your study.
